Perhaps the Battle Mountain High School basketball teams will never get to play at home again.

The Longhorns were scheduled to play North Tahoe on Friday and Incline on Saturday.

However, the games were postponed due to weather conditions. That's despite, South Tahoe High School making it out of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and playing in Elko and Spring Creek last weekend.

Battle Mountain girls basketball coach and athletic director Paul Tremayne, said the Incline games will likely be made up on Wednesday, Feb. 8.

A date has not been found for the North Tahoe contest.

Battle Mountain is on the road for two games this weekend, starting in Silver Stage on Friday. The road trip concludes on Saturday in Yerington.
