The Humboldt County School Board will meet Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 4:30.
The superintendent’s report is the first item on the agenda, followed by the consent agenda, which includes approval of the warrants and approval of a trip request for McDermitt Combined School’s Gear-Up students to visit Boise State University March 10-11.
Regular agenda items include:
• Presentation on a multi-tiered system approach for the Positive Behavior and Intervention System, (PBIS) and Project AWARE.
• Final approval of 2017 summer bond projects
• Review of proposed three to five-year school calendars and request for approval.
Public comment is allowed at both the beginning and the end of each school board meeting. That will be followed by board members’ reports or requests.
School board meetings are held in the meeting room upstairs on the Fourth Street side of Winnemucca Junior High School.
