Lowry High School sophomore Julianne Montero shined as the Nevada State High School Rodeo Association began its spring circuit in Boulder City on Feb. 11-12. Montero competed in barrel racing, goat tying and breakaway roping. She won the average in the goat tying and placed second in the barrels on Sunday, Feb. 12.
