Three Amigos won the 2017 Don Peters Memorial Tournament held in the first weekend of February at Spare Time Bowl.
The Winnemucca Inn provided $2,800 in prize money and Winners Inn contributed $1,000. Nearly 110 bowlers, with 96 of them from out of town. A total of $13,000 in prize money was awarded.
Three Amigos won the top prize of $3,000 and team members include Jasin Richards, Christian Salazar and Taylor Prather.
2 Gingers, 1 Soul (Mitch Wareing, Tyler Bice, Jordan Harrison) finished second and earned $2,500. Boise Boys (Terry Fisher, Mike Connelly, Jamie Flynn) placed third and won $2,000. Barber Jockey's (Rick Kuster, John Barber, Dave Dayton) were fourth and won $1,200.
SPLAT (Jason Robinson, Mike Youngquist Jr., Adam Wilson) placed fifth, and Broken Arrow (Delbert Sturm, Trevor Vlcek, Kevin Owens) were sixth.
Carson Lanes (Andrew Gatrell, Jennifer Dunbar, Justin Yates) placed seventh and Reno Big Dogs (Kyle Klein, Cindy Cornelison, Kevin Foley) finished in eighth.
The high team game went to Kiss the Baby (Gary Hudgins, Craig McLinden, Doug Haylett) with a 765 series. Gene White had the high individual game, with a 300.
The high average out of the money went to Shawn Horenberger at 227. Cesar Rojas had the high individual points won/out of the money with 20.
Carson Lanes led the way in the first-day results, while Not The Day and Broken Arrow were second and third, respectively.
