Ron was born in Stockton, California to Otto and Elizabeth Engeler who immigrated to the US from Switzerland. He was preceded in death by his brother Sig and his parents. He is survived by brothers Walt, Martin and sister Connie, their children and many relatives.
He was an electrician, buckaroo, and truck driver by trade, spending many years traveling the west either on horseback or by truck with the beauty of wide open spaces as his backdrop. We love him dearly and he will be missed.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 7th, 2017 at 2 pm in Lovelock, Nevada at the Lone Mountain Cemetery.
