There are many activities for seniors at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. The following is the schedule for Feb. 6 – 10
Monday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 1 p.m. Cards, T.O.P.S. 7:30 – 10 a.m.
Tuesday: 10 a.m. Crafters, 10:30 a.m. Wal-Mart, 11:45 a.m. Lunch Bingo, 1 p.m. Painting class
Wednesday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 10:30 a.m. Khoury’s, Blood Pressure Check, Lora Myles Attorney
Thursday: 10 a.m. Crafters, 10:30 a.m. Ridley’s, MTM program Geriatric Specialist, Chihuahua’s Valentine Dinner 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. Exercise with Rae, Panguingue 1 p.m.
Lunches are served each weekday at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. Lunches are open to the public. Suggested minimum donation is $3 for seniors 60 years and older; $6 charge for persons under 60 years of age. The following is the menu for Jan. 6 – 10
Monday: Baked chicken tenders, scalloped potatoes, peas with onions, tropical fruit, chocolate chip cookie
Tuesday: Bacon cheeseburger, lettuce , tomato and red onion, tater tots, peach crisp
Wednesday: Bbq chicken, potato salad, steamed spinach, pears, pineapple cake
Thursday: Pizza, salad bar, mandarin oranges, jell-o
Friday: Breaded Pollock, parsley potatoes, Malibu veggies, pineapple
