Nov. 16

Pablo Leiva Arrenondo pleaded guilty to an amended misdemeanor charge of breach of peace. He had originally been charged with felony open or gross lewdness. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for 14 days jail time already served. The judge suspended the remaining 46 days on condition the defendant has no further problems with the law other than minor traffic violations.



Jesse Clinton Bonderer pleaded guilty to domestic battery. He was fined $200 + $105 AA + $35 special assessment. His fines and fees were converted to four days in jail and credit was given for four days already served. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 28 days stayed for two years. 48 hours of community service was ordered but converted to 2 days jail time with credit given for time already served. The defendant is to attend 26 sessions of batterers intervention counseling, with monthly reports to the court. Defendant ordered to have to alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician. No further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations. The defendant was also admonished that due to his domestic violence conviction, possession, shipment, transportation or receipt of a firearm or ammunition may constitute a felony.



Nov. 21

Charges against Christopher Douglas Lemirande of child abuse, neglect or endangerment were dropped as he agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor DUI charge.



Amanda Jaylene Smith pleaded guilty to a charge of petit larceny. She was fined $1,000 + $140 AA + a $200 warrant, late fee. The judge suspended payment of $500 on conditions no further like violations and no further problems with the law other than minor traffic violations.



Nov. 21

Vedsselin Panajotov pleaded guilty to unlawful trespass upon land. He was fined $100 + $95 AA. He was given credit for time served and released from custody.



Nov. 28

Austin Scott-Lee Robison pleaded guilty to an amended criminal complaint charging misdemeanor failure to stop on signal of a peace officer and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was fined $500 + $140 AA on count one and fined $500 + $140 on count two. The judge suspended payment of $600 in fines for six months on condition no further like violations and no problems with the law, including no further traffic violations. An additional count of possession of marijuana was dismissed pursuant to plea negotiations.



Tanner Ryan Whetstone pleaded no contest to DUI-1. An additional charge of no tail lights was dismissed. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed on condition he serve two days in jail or four days of house arrest. He was fined $400 + $125 AA + $60 forensic fee and $100 special DUI fee. The defendant was ordered to complete DUI School and attend a Victim Impact Panel. No alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician, no further criminal activity other than minor traffic violations.



Charges of petit larceny against Paul Edward Buschman were dismissed without prejudice on a motion by the Humboldt County DA’s Office.
