Amber Nicole Holley was found guilty in a bench trial of DUI-second offense. She was sentenced to 80 days in jail, suspended for a year on condition she serve 20 days of house arrest, and pay a fine of $750 + $140 AA + $60 forensic fee + $100 special DUI fee. DUI School was waived by the court. Victim Impact Panel is to be completed by Nov. 5. Defendant was ordered to no alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician. No further violations of the law resulting in a conviction. Defendant must attend three AA or NA meetings a month and must provide proof to the counselor. Alcohol counseling order for six months. Random drug and alcohol screening will be required.

Daniel Lee Akman II pleaded guilty to resisting a public officer. He was in custody as he had failed to appear for previously scheduled court hearings. Presiding Senior Justice of the Peace Barbara J. Nethery ruled that Akman would be sentenced to time already served and the case closed.
In a separate case, Daniel Lee Akman II was charged with driving without a valid drivers license, no proof of insurance and unregistered vehicle, as well as several charges of failure to appear. Senior Justice of the Peace Barbara J. Nethery fined him $100 + $95 AA for driving without a valid license, $600 + $140 AA for no insurance and $100 + $95 AA for no registration. The judge found Akman in contempt of court on the failure to appear charges and sentenced him to 10 days in jail with credit for 10 days already served.
In a separate case, Daniel Lee Akman II was sentenced on charges of driving with expired license plates and no driver’s license. He was fined $50 + $65AA for expired plates and $100 + $95AA for no driver’s license.

He was fined $60 + $70 AA for speeding, $50 + $65 AA for no registration and $100 + $95 AA for driving without a license. He was given $100 credit for one day served in jail. All the fines in all the cases were rolled together and he was ordered to make $100 monthly payments beginning in October.
Gunnar Chase pleaded guilty to minor in consumption of alcohol and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was fined $150 + $75 AA for minor in consumption and $150 + $75 AA for contributing. He was also sentenced to 10 days in jail, suspended for one year on the condition he have no further like violations. He was given $300 credit for three days already served in jail toward the fines and fees.

Michael Gordon Stalder pleaded guilty to DUI-second offense. A second charge of speeding was dismissed. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail with 45 days stayed for a year on condition he serve 15 days. He was given credit for 2 days served. He was fined $750 + $140 AA + $60 forensic fee and $100 special DUI fee. DUI School was waived by the court. Victim Impact Panel was ordered. Defendant ordered to have a breath interlock device installed in any vehicle he drives for 12 months. Defendant ordered to no alcohol, no controlled substance unless prescribed by a physician, random drug and alcohol testing. He is to attend AA meetings four times a month with proof of attendance given to the counselor. Ordered to obtain alcohol counseling for six months with monthly reports to the court. No further criminal activity resulting in a conviction other than minor traffic violations.
