Obituary: Frank L. Beebe

Frank L. Beebe, a longtime resident of Absorakee, Montana passed away July 26, 2017 at Columbus, Montana. Frank was born to George J. and Jean Beebe on September 15, 1943 in Muskegon, Michigan. Frank spent his childhood in Muskegon and after his school years he joined the Air Force.

Frank worked in Arizona after his discharge from the Air Force where he met and later married Yvonne (Butcher) Beebe.

Frank worked in heavy construction as a carpenter/welder and rigger at several dams on the Columbia River in Washington State and major irrigation projects in central Washington and Arizona. Frank was a member of the Carpenter’s Union in Eastern WA.

In the mid-80s Frank and Yvonne moved to Absarokee Montana where Frank was employed by the Stillwater Platinum Mine in Nye Montana.

In the early 90s Frank and Yvonne relocated to Imlay, Nevada where Frank was employed at Florida Canyon Mine. During their time in Nevada Frank was also employed by Small Mine Development (SMD) and TIC construction.

Frank enjoyed taking rides into the desert, mountains or the forest. In his earlier years enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting with his sons. Frank also enjoyed entering pool tournaments and drinking beer.

Thank you for being our stepfather and being part of our lives Frank. We love you and will miss you.

Frank is survived by his 4 stepsons, John L. Butcher(Maxine) of Winnemucca, NV, Jerry Butcher(Trudy) of Downey,CA, James Butcher of Richland, WA and Jeffery Butcher(Glennis) of Grand Coulee,WA.

Frank is also survived by three step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren from his marriage to Yvonne.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife Yvonne Beebe, father George Beebe and stepmother Bert, stepfather Dale Zufelt and Mother Jean and sister Geraldine.

Private interment was at Rosebud Cemetery in Absorakee where he was laid to rest with his beloved wife Yvonne.
