Carlson claims Jeff Wade Memorial Junior Golf Tournament

The Winnemucca Junior Golf season wrapped up on Wednesday with the 22nd Annual Jeff Wade Memorial Golf Tournament at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.

Tatyana Carlson was the overall winner on the day, as she shot 81 for 18 holes.

Zane Fifield won the boys 15-17-year-old division with a round of 83.

Kobe Stoker was second with an 88, winning in a playoff. Dillon Patterson (88) was third and Peyton Capellen (93) and Bodi Miller (111) were fourth and fifth, respectively.

In the boys 13-14-year-old age group, Rian DeLong was first with a nine-hole score of 50. Hunter Mullins was second at 52 and Tristan Cassinelli (55) was third. Cal Peters shot a 56 to place fourth and JJ Drobny (85) and Seamus Maloon (90) rounded out the scores.

Txema Bengochea paced the field in the boys 10 and under age group with a 36. Byron Jimenez (42) was second and Jaden Jimenez took home third place with a 46, winning in a chip off.

Luis Mendoza shot a 57 to finish fourth and Hayden Lyon was fifth at 51. Jace Frydendall (64) Micheal Heikkila (68) and Regan Kenner (83) closed out the scores.

The boys 11-12-year-old field was led by Trenton Mullis with a 53, while Landon Esquivel (54) was second. John Boyle (55) finished third and AJ Mendoza (67) and Tom Moser (72) were fourth and fifth, respectively.

Marquette Cassinelli led the way in the girls 11-12-year-old age group with a 54. Greta Layton was second at 57.
