Cameron Lee Carrica pleaded guilty to misdemeanor domestic battery in return for having felony charges dropped. Carrica was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days stayed for a period of two years. He was given credit for 2 days already served. He was fined $200 + $105AA + $35 special assessment fee. He was ordered to complete 26 sessions of batterers intervention counseling, with monthly reports to the court. He was given credit for 2.5 days in jail for payment of a $250 public defender fee. He is ordered to have no alcohol, no controlled substances unless prescribed by a physician. He was admonished that with his conviction for domestic violence, possession, shipment, transportation or receipt of a firearm or ammunition may constitute a felony.
In a separate case, additional charges against Cameron Lee Carria for domestic battery, — were dismissed on a motion by the Humboldt County DA’s office.
Felony charges against Daniel Peter Jeppsen for uttering a forged instrument were amended after plea negotiations to misdemeanor petit larceny. He pleaded guilty to that charge. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 14 days already served. The remaining 16 days were suspended on condition the defendant pay restitution of $410.
