On July 27, NHP arrested a juvenile male age 17, after a radar check of his speed allegedly confirmed he was driving 100 miles per hour on Interstate 80 westbound. He was also charged with curfew violation, being a runaway, incorrigible, or child in need of supervision, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, speeding, and under-age possession of marijuana. He was booked into the juvenile detention center. Bail not applicable.
On July 27 NHP arrested Syianne Azia Cox, a passenger in the vehicle with the 17 year-old male juvenile. As both Cox and the juvenile male were in possession of a vehicle which had been reported stolen from a dealership, both were arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle. She also was booked into the juvenile detention center. Bail not applicable.
