Gary (Randy) Waldron, 68, of Winnemucca, NV passed away at home on September 4, 2016.
Randy was born on September 29, 1947in Tooele, Utah to John Waldron and Jeanne Waldron.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam as a Spec4. During his time of service he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. After leaving the service Randy became a Civilian government employee in 1968 and retired as a GS12 in 2003.
Randy was a member of the Elks, Eagles, Moose and NHRA pro driver. He had a passion for drag racing motorcycles and cars.
Randy is survived by his sons Shayne (Rinell) and Neil and his daughter Amy; his grand children Blake, Kaden, Garreth, Tori and Ty; his brother Monty and sisters Linda, Kathy and Nikki. He was preceded in death by his father John Thomas Waldron and his mother Jeanne Waldron.
A memorial service for Randy was held on Wednesday September 14, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Butch Cassidy’s Saloon.
