Gary (Randy) Waldron, 68, of Winnemucca, NV passed away at home on September 4, 2016.
Randy was born on September 29, 1947 in Tooele, Utah to John Waldron and Alma Jeanne Lassce.
He proudly served his country as a GS12 in the United States Army during Vietnam. During his time of service he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. After leaving the service Randy became a Civilian government employee in 2003,
Randy was a member of the Elks, Eagles, Moose and NHR pro driver. He had a passion for drag racing motorcycles and cars.
Randy is survived by his sons Shayne (Rinell) and Neil and his daughter Amy; his grand children Blake, Kadin, Garreth, Tori and Ty; his brother Monty and sisters Linda, Kathy and Nilslsi. He was preceded in death by his father John Thomas Waldron and his mother Alma Jean Lassee.
A memorial service for Randy will be held on Wednesday September 14, 2016 at noon at Sonoma Funeral Home, 47 West First St, Winnemucca, NV 775-623-2986.
