There are many activities for seniors at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. The following is the schedule for Sept. 12 – 16:
Monday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 1 p.m. Pinochle
Tuesday: 10 a.m. Crafters, 10:30 a.m. Walmart, 11:45 a.m. Lunch Bingo, 1 p.m. Painting Class
Wednesday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 10:30 a.m. Khoury’s, 11a.m. Music by the Dancers, Social Security Call 1 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m. Crafts, 10:30 a.m. Ridley’s
Friday: 10 a.m. Exercise with Rae, 1 p.m. Panguingue
Lunches are served each weekday at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. Lunches are open to the public. Suggested minimum donation is $3 for seniors 60 years and older; $6 charge for persons under 60 years of age. The following is the menu for Sept. 12 – 16:
Monday: Beef soft tacos, ranch beans, mexi corn, pears, pudding
Tuesday: Sesame chicken, rice pilaf, oriental veggies, mixed fruit, banana cake
Wednesday: Country Fried Steak, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, peaches, 4 layer dessert
Thursday: Pork chops, baked potato, glazed carrots, applesauce, jell-o
Friday: Shepard’s pie, roll, salad bar, mandarin oranges
