The Humboldt County Commissioners will be holding their regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 9:30 a.m. The commissioners will discuss and possibly act on the following items:
• Re-appointment of Jacy Jackson to Humboldt Development Authority (HDA)
•Withdrawal of Nuisance Complaint for property at 4450 Sunny Drive.
• Employee of the month (July 2016)
• Possible approval to hire three Dispatch Operator positions; one Detention Center Control Room Operator; one Deputy Sheriff, Patrol.
Request for waiver of the attrition policy for Dispatch Operator position
• BLM land acquisition discussion to acquire under R&PP (lease) OR FLPMA (sale) - for the extension of the Regional Landfill, the Shooting Park and the Maintenance Yard.
• Crawford Cattle request for Chimney Dam water release
• Letter of protest regarding UNR Cooperative Extension consolidation
• Request to waive attrition policy for vacated Comptroller position
• Quinn River TV District: Refund requests
• Public Safety Communications (Dispatch 911) computer replacement
• Road Department: Surplus vehicles for disposal
• Renewal of road maintenance agreement with Hycroft Mine
• Approval to fill Road Maintenance Equipment Operator position
• Acquisition of Arrien-Hornbarger land in Denio for new library
• McDermitt Community Center: Request for dumpsters for semi-annual cleanup
