Humboldt County Pets at the Pound

The following animals were recently picked up by animal control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at (775) 623-6403 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at (775) 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog’s description, license number and general area in which it was lost.



Oct. 11

A male white Husky mix was picked up on Moon Lane.*Reclaimed

A female brown and white Basset mix was picked up on Grass Valley Rd. *Reclaimed

A female black and white Heeler mix was picked up on Middle Way and surrendered to shelter.

A male white Poodle mix was picked up on W. Winnemucca Blvd.



Oct. 13

A male white Husky mix was picked up on Moon Lane. *Reclaimed

A male fawn Pit mix was citizen drop off to shelter.

A male black Lab mix was picked up on Nugget Dr.

A male gray and white Husky mix was picked up on 4th St.

A female black and white Lab/Heeler mix was picked up on Maxine. *Reclaimed

A female tri colored Heeler was picked up on Maxine. *Reclaimed

A male black and white Pit mix was citizen drop off to shelter. *Reclaimed

A female black and white Border Collie was picked up on Valley Way.

A male white Pit mix was picked up on Park Manor. *Reclaimed

A female brown Chihuahua was picked up on Mustang.

A male white Maltese mix was picked up on Park Manor. *Reclaimed

A male black Pit mix was picked up on Hanson/Manor.



If you are looking for a canine friend to adopt, please call us at (775) 623-6403. Dogs are available for viewing every day from 8 a.m. — 4 p.m.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
