WINNEMUCCA — Dr. Brad Granath, has been awarded the Degree of Fellow by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). The degree was conferred during a convocation on Friday, September 23rd, in conjunction with the AAFP’s annual meeting in Orlando, FL.
Criteria for receiving the AAFP Degree of Fellow consist of a minimum of six years as a Family Physician, extensive continuing medical education and participation in public service programs outside medical practice. There is also a requirement for conducting original research and serving as a teacher in family medicine.
Dr. Granath recently relocated his clinic to the second floor of the new medical office building at Humboldt General Hospital and is committed to provide excellent care with a personal touch to his patients. Dr. Granath is currently serving as the HGH Chief of the Medical Staff and looks forward to continuing to make a positive difference in the community of Winnemucca.
