The Humboldt County Rodeo Club was back in action on Saturday, Oct. 8, at Sunday, Oct. 9 in Elko.
Quint Bell was first in steer wrestling on Oct. 8, with a time of 5.7 seconds and was second in the second performance on Oct. 9 at 9.740.
He partnered up with his younger brother in team roping and they were fourth on Oct. 7 at 10.220. They had no time in the second performance.
Quint Bell was fourth in both performances of cutting and he was third in the Oct. 8 tie-down roping in a time of 13.120.
Chris Gleason was the only rider to stay on his bull fir the weekend, scoring 66 points in the Oct. 9 performance.
Julianne Montero had a strong weekend with a number of top-10 finishes. She won the Oct. 9 performance of barrel racing at 17.950 and she was third in the first performance at 18.299.
She was second in goat tying on Oct. 8 at 7.530 and fourth in the first performance at 8.090. Montero had no time in breakaway roping on Oct. 8 and was sixth on Oct. 9 at 3.370.
Bailey Reynolds finished second in breakaway roping on Oct. 8 with a time of 2.93 and she was 20th in the second performance at 11.1.
Cade Bell placed fifth and sixth, respectively, in boys cutting and placed 10th in tie-down roping on Oct. 9 a 19.930.
Marie Curtis was eighth in breakaway roping on Oct. 8 with a time of 4.07.
Kenadee Miller was sixth along with partner Dylan Heishman in the team roping on Oct. 9 at 17.950. Miller finished 13th in the breakaway roping on Oct. 7 at 4.77.
Kerstin Christiansen finished 10th in the first performance of barrel racing with a time of 18.837 and she was 13th in pole bending at 22.275 on Oct. 9 and 18th in barrel racing on Oct. 9 in a time of 18.964.

Team roping 7th on Sunday with partner Alyssa Nimmick with a time of 18.790.
Alyssa Nimmick placed eighth in pole bending in the first performance in a time of 23.017 and she was 17th in the second performance at 23.328.
Dusty Robertson was 11th in goat tying on Oct. 9 at 8.730 and Danyele Draper was 12th in team roping on Oct. 8 with Leta Ikonen with a time of 24.630.
After two rodeos, Montero is the event leader in barrel racing and goat tying. She is fifth in breakaway roping.
Gleason leads the state in the bull riding standings and Seth Duncan is second in braeback riding. Quint Bell is currently third in tie-down roping.
• In the junior high division, Kayla Curtis was fourth in breakaway roping on Oct. 8 at 5.50 and she was 12th in barrel racing on Oct. 9 at 19.692 and 15th on Oct. 8 in a time of 20.289.
Curtis was fifth in pole bending in the first performance at 23.227, but knocked down a pole on Oct. 9 and finished 15th with a time of 27.818.
Lexi Garijo placed fifth in pole bending on Oct. 9 with a time of 22.443 and she was 12th in the first performance of barrel racing at 19.716 and 19th in the second performance at 20.883. Garijo was seventh in the Oct. 8 team roping with partner Amanda Draper with a time of 47.070.
The Humboldt County Rodeo Club returns to action in Alamo from Oct. 28-30.
