The Battle Mountain High School girls soccer team went on the road for a pair of matches this past weekend and lost both contests. The Lady Longhorns were in Lovelock on Friday and lost 4-1 to Pershing County. Sruti Bhakta had the goal for Battle Mountain and Abbie Okrzesik assisted on the play. Makayla Renfroe had three goals for Pershing County. Battle Mountain was in Winnemucca on Saturday and lost 4-1 to the Lowry JV. Bhakta had the goal and Angelica Posada and Okrzesik assisted on the play. Battle Mountain hosts Yerington on Friday at 1 p.m. and Whittell on Saturday at 11 a.m.
