Obituary: Dustin Daniel Uriguen

Born November 10, 1974; Died October 1, 2016

On October 1, 2016, Dustin Daniel Uriguen went home to his heavenly father.

Dustin was born in Winnemucca, NV and spent his school years in Elko, NV, later returning to Winnemucca as an adult and lived there until the last several months of his short life. Dustin is the son of Don and Carolyn Rose of Reno and Harold and Colleen Uriguen of Winnemucca. He also leaves 2 brothers, Tony Uriguen & wife Billie of Fruita, Co., Jeff Rose of Reno and sister Charmaane Buehrle of Reno as well as many Aunts, Uncles , Cousins Nieces and Nephews. He was known and loved by so many friends and family.  There weren’t too many around Winnemucca that didn’t know him. He made friends easily, even on a recent stay in Oregon, he was known by the guy with the cowboy hat and a big smile with the white dog.  Yes, his dog “Cracker” is definitely a member of the family. He worked at many trades from building homes to doing mechanical jobs and mining as well as too many others to remember. Dustin will always be remembered by his big smile even when he was facing so much, that many of us didn’t realize, a pain that eventually became too difficult, unfortunately so difficult that Dustin died by suicide. Dustin’s family will plan a celebration of life for him at a later date and all friends and family will be notified.
