The Battle Mountain High School girls golf team held its annual fall golf tournament, with teams from around eastern and central Nevada.
The Lady Longhorns had just two players in action, with Lynzee Devlin leading the way at 133. Adrienne Burkhart carded a 170 for Battle Mountain.
West Wendover won the tournament with a 401 and had three golfers finish in the top five. Sarah Issacs was the low medalist at 81 and teammate Sara Vera was second at 103. Shelby Hanson was fifth at 107.
The Elko JV placed second at 473, Wells was third at 492 and Round Mountain (605) was fourth. Elko’s Kinnedy Lostra was third as individual with a 106 and Wells’ Kaitlyn Alton was fourth at 107.
Battle Mountain closes the out the regular season Thursday in Round Mountain.
The NIAA 2A State Tournament takes place Monday and Tuesday at the Incline Championship Course in Incline Village.
