With one game left to go in the regular season, the Lowry High School girls soccer team still had a chance to advance to the 3A Regional Championships.
The Lady Bucks needed Incline to lose to Churchill County last Thursday to have an opportunity at the postseason.
The Highlanders did not do the Lady Bucks any favors, beating the Greenwave 1-0.
Lowry was in Sparks for the season finale and did everything in its part to stay alive.
Shelby Garrison scored in the first half off an assist by Hailey Fernandez.
That was all the scoring for Lowry, as Sparks tied the match at 1-1 in the second half and the teams played to a 1-1 tie.
The Lady Bucks finished the year 4-9-3 in the Northern 3A and 5-4 overall.
