Battle Mountain High School will be holding parent/teacher conferences on Nov. 3-4
On Thursday evening, the conferences will be held in the gym from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. On Friday, conferences will be held in the teachers’ classrooms starting at 8 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. with lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Parents attending conferences will receive a printout of their student’s current grades and have the ability to talk to teachers about their child’s progress.
Also, the counselor will be offering financial aid information at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening and again at 9 a.m. Friday morning for parents of seniors or juniors. This presentation will take place in the career center. BMHS will also offer computers so that parents can register their student/athlete into the new program RegisterMyAthlete. Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA) requires all winter and spring sports athletes to be registered in the program for this school year. BMHS is hoping for a strong turnout of parents. If any parent cannot make it during the times that are being offered they may call the high school at 635-5436 to set up appointments with teachers.
