The Pleasant Senior Center will be hosting a candidates forum on Wednesday, May 25 starting at 1 p.m.
The candidates running for Humboldt County Commission seats were invited to the forum. Each participate will have an opportunity to make a two minute opening statement after which written questions submitted by members of the audience to the Mistress of Ceremonies, Charlie Berringer, will be directed to the candidates. Following questions each candidate will have an opportunity to make a one minute closing statement.
The forum is expected to last around 60 – 75 minutes, depending on the number of questions. The community is invited to attend. For more information call the senior center at 623-6211.
