The time has come, yet again, to spring forward.
Daylight Saving Time officially begins March 13. At 2 a.m., the change will be official, and the time will move forward an hour.
The time change will occur automatically for most smart phones, computers and tablets. However, it would be a good idea to set a reminder to change the oven clock on Sunday.
Daylight Saving Time was adopted in 1966 as an energy-saving measure. It is observed by all but two US states: Arizona and Hawaii. It is also observed in most of Canada, much of Europe, certain South American countries, a small handful of African countries and parts of Australia.
