Miguel (Mike) Angel Murillo, 58, of Battle Mountain, Nevada, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Renown Regional Medical Center.
Born in Guadalajara, Mexico to Rosa and Antonio Murillo he lived and enjoyed most of his life in Southern California.
Mike loved the outdoors and enjoyed every opportunity to go hunting and fishing with his friend and family. He was an admirable marksman, and particularly looked forward to chukar, pheasant, and deer hunting. He was also passionate about automobiles, often helping his children and friends with any care and maintenance for their vehicles.
Mike was always there to help his children and friends with any problems, often offering advice, thoughts, and kind words on anything they need him form.
Mike is survived by his sons Chris and Bryon, daughters Jackie and Viviana, 5 beautiful grandchildren, 7 brothers and 2 sisters, parents Rosa and Antonio, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Mike was a devoted father, grandfather, uncle, son, and friend to all.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 12 starting at noon at the Sacred Heart Church, 10800 Henderson Road, Ventura, CA 93004.
