In my opinion, President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Democratic Senators, and Democratic Representatives in congress have totally missed the boat when it comes to gun control in this years election cycle.
The Democrats need to lead the Republicans on this issue; by introducing legislation for the U. S. Government to construct at least one qualified shooting range in every county of the United States of America depending upon size. And to hire ex-military firearms instructors to instruct firearms safety and proper gun control.
This provision should also include an annual tax exemption of $1,000.00 per individual tax payer and $3,000.00 for a married couple to purchase firearms, ammunition, and other firearm related accessories.
It should be mandatory for every citizen twenty-one years of age or older to be certified in the proper use of the SSK, AR-15, or other semi-automatic rifles, shotguns, and hand guns; upon the completion of the course a Concealed Carry License should be immediately issued and entered on their driver’s license.
If the reader will notice I have referenced the legal to own civilian SSK and AR-15 semi automatic firearms and not the military assault counterpart; the AK-47 and M-16 weapons which are capable of select or full automatic fire. It is far more important in the hands of civilians to use proper sighting techniques and gun control.
An armed society is a polite society.
