There are many activities for seniors at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. The following is the schedule for June 20 — 24:
Monday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 1 p.m. Pinochle, BBQ raffle drawing
Tuesday: 10 a.m. Crafts, 10:30 a.m. Walmart, 11:45 a.m. Lunch Bingo
Wednesday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 10:30 a.m. Khourys, Lora Myles, Attorney
Thursday: 10 a.m. Crafts, 10:30 a.m. Ridleys, 11:30 a.m. Swinging Seniors, Lora Myles, Attorney
Friday: 10 a.m. Exercise with Rae, 1 p.m. Panguingue, Twin Falls Sewing
Lunches are served each weekday at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. Lunches are open to the public. Suggested minimum donation is $3 for seniors 60 years and older; $6 charge for persons under 60 years of age. The following is the menu for June 20 — 24:
Monday: Father’s Day dinner: Pork chops, Company potatoes, glazed carrots, applesauce, lemon pie tart
Tuesday: BBQ chicken, potato salad, steamed spinach, apricots, chocolate chip cookie
Wednesday: Roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, Capri veggies, peaches, Texas sheet cake
Thursday: Crab salad sandwich on a croissant, broccoli salad, fresh fruit, Jell-O
Friday: Pizza, salad bar, pineapple
