(1942-2016) After attending her granddaughter’s wedding in Genoa, she traveled to Seattle where she enjoyed fireworks displays, and toured museums and skyscrapers, standing on the tallest observation deck on the west coast. She returned home to Winnemucca, to console a friend who had just lost her husband. A few days later, she took ill, and died in a Reno hospital. She is survived by her son, Owen Brinkerhoff and two daughters, Erica Edwards and Audra Haines, and their families. Memorial services were held on Tuesday July 19th 11am, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 111 W McArthur Ave, Winnemucca.
