Victor Eugene Gierhart 67 passed away Monday, July 4, 2016 at Renown Medical Center, Reno, Nv. Victor was born to Chaney Burton and Oma Riddle Gierhart on the 3rd of February 1949 at Lovelock, NV.
Victor attended Pershing County Schools graduating in 1967. He was active in sports, Scouting receiving his Eagle Scout award and a volunteer Fireman. He worked for Eagle Picher as a truck driver, Pargas and Cour Rochester. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Victor married Pamela Yager Montes on September 27, 1981 in Lovelock Nevada.
Preceded in death by his parents, grand parents, brother Gene Stanley Gierhart, aunt; Nancy Huffington; uncles Don, Burr, Lynn and Dern Riddle.
He is survived by his wife Pam, Daughter Christine (Mike)Townsend; brothers Edgar (Emily) and Charles Burton (Vanette).
Two grand children; Brooke and Derek Townsend; Step children Rita (Earl) Malay, Laurie Jones and Keith (Dana) Montes and 8 step grandchildren; Aunt Loa Long Uncles Dale (Margarite) and Cal (Gay) Riddle.
