Nancy Ann Riddle Boyle Huffington, 70, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at her home in Kansas City, KS, with her family surrounding her. Nancy was born May 20, 1946 in Lovelock, NV, to Edgar Joselina and Zona Lillis Taylor Riddle.
Nancy attended schools in Lovelock until her junior year of High School when she meets Roy Leon Boyle Sr. Nancy and Leon, as he was called, married 1 September 1962 in Fallon, NV. They resided on the Brinkerhoff Ranch in Lower Valley. Nancy and Leon had three children Lee Roy, Roy Leon Jr. and Loraine Ann. In 1971 Nancy moved with her children to Henderson, NV where her children all attended school.
Nancy was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she taught Primary, was Cub Scout leader, worked in the Relief Society, was a Family History Library Consultant, and was a Temple worker. She also served an 18 month mission with her husband Ronald in the Independence, MO Temple.
On 1 August 1973 Nancy married Ronald Kent Huffington in the Saint George Temple. They had four children Jolin Mae, Nina Rae, David Kent, and Lillie Jane.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Leon, son Roy, 7 sisters and 8 brothers and a granddaughter Bethany Ann Stolce. She is survived by children Lee, Loraine, and David Huffington, Lillie (Shawn) Kleemeyer all of Henderson, NV, Jolin (Kevin) Mahoney of Pratte City, MO, and Nina (Lonnie) Stolce of Raymond, WA, sister Loa R. Long of Lovelock, brothers Dale (Marguerite) Riddle and Cal (Gay) Riddle of Henderson, NV and 24 grandchildren with one on the way, and 5 great grandchildren, plus many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held June 20, 2016 in Kansas City and burial in Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, KS. She will be missed by all.
