Thomas Drennen Donahue, 62, of Winnemucca, Nevada, formerly of Durango, CO. and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died on Monday January 18, 2016 in Winnemucca after a short but difficult battle with cancer.
Tom was born February 26, 1953 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to John and Alma Ellen Donahue.
He is survived by his sons, Zach Donahue, Tyler (Lexi) Donahue, both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. His Loving partner of 11 years, Wendy Schlyer of Winnemucca, NV, his brothers, Mark (Sharon) Donahue of Durango, CO, Bob (Barb) Donahue of Vancouver, Canada, his former wife and mother of his children, Kathy Dulle of Marion, Iowa and many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
Tom enjoyed working on and riding his Harley. Tom was employed in numerous building trades throughout his life. He was everyone’s “Mr. Fix-it” man. He had that talent no matter whether it was motors, electricity, plumbing or carpentry.
Tom will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
