Humboldt County Commissioners appointed several new members to two rural boards Tuesday.
Kings River General Improvement District board: Diana Allen, Lindsey Smith, Jessica Smith, Martha Lopez, and Wendy Muratore.
Golconda Water board: Frank Tinoco, Alison MacDonald, Jewell Hayden, and Valerie Whitehead.
Commissioners also agreed to establish a new committee in Denio, charged with assessing the needs and options for the planned new library building, including site selection and building size and space needs. Board members have not yet been chosen.
