Larry W. Lumpkin passed away suddenly January 7, 2016. He was born on September 1, 1943 in Amherst, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Helen Regusci Lumpkin, sons Stan Lumpkin of Reno, Nev., Virgil Lumpkin of Pampa, Texas, daughter Michelle Garner of Wheeler, Texas, sister Sherry Gee and brother Jerry Lumpkin both of Pampa, Texas.
Larry was a grandfather of six, great grandfather of six and a great-great grandfather of one.
Larry came to Nevada to work for Lander County Road and Bridge in Austin, Nev. He also worked for Duval Mining Co., AMI Construction and finished his career with Ledcor Industries from which he retired.
Larry enjoyed team roping with long-time friend Bob Phillips and playing pool.
He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
