ELKO — The Nevada Cattlemen’s Association does not condone the ongoing actions being carried out in Southeast Oregon. Nor do we support actions that are outside the law in which citizens take the law into their own hands. Ranchers operating on public lands have legitimate policy and procedural challenges with the Federal land management agencies. However, we are not surprised of the situation due to the fact that our Federal government has lost its way and failed to distinguish a terrorist from a hard working American family.
