Richard R. Campbell, 90, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 in Lovelock, Nevada at Pershing General Hospital.
Richard was born October 15, 1925 in Wakeman, Ohio to Harold and Lucille Campbell, the youngest of six children.
Richard was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946. After his service he entered college, eventually earning a Masters Degree in Education and taught for 20 years.
In 1956 he met and married Velva Jean Thurber. They remained together for 55 years until her passing in 2012.
He is proceeded in death by his wife, parents, 5 brothers, sister and daughter-in-law Casey. He is survived by his daughter Nanci Linn, sons Richard (Connie) and Jeff, 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for Friday, January 15, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Lovelock at 11 a.m.
