As I near my 80th birthday, I find it very upsetting that I cannot cast my vote for president in the Nevada caucus. I have voted in presidential and every election since 1960, no matter where in the world I was living. Until 2008 when Nevada changed to caucus.
Now, because it is a caucus, I cannot. I am deaf and crippled with arthritis. For those reasons it is impossible to attend a two or three hour neighborly get together. This method of voting should offer some way of insuring the disabled can cast their vote. After all, as I was taught, it is a civic duty.
