Anthony (Tony) John Lohr, 54, of Winnemucca died on January 28, 2016 at home.
He was born March 10, 1961, in Denver, Colorado to Sharon Coloroso and John Lohr. He shared a close bond with his stepfather, Bob Coloroso. He is survived by his wife Sheila (Lohr) whom he married on December 21, 2008.
Tony served four years in the US Navy and worked for the past 25 years as an electrician at Cyanco, Newmont - Twin Creeks mine and Allied Nevada Gold - Hycroft mine.
Surviving are two daughters, Sarah Heitman and Megan Lohr of Winnemucca; a stepson, Skyler Common of Elko; and a grandchild, Kaylie of Winnemucca, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by siblings Nick Lohr of Hawaii, Janice Fuller, and Jim Lohr, both of Colorado and mother Sharon Coloroso of Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his father John, stepfather Bob and grandmother Eva.
His body has been cremated, and a memorial service is planned for Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Word of Light Fellowship Assembly of God Church, 4505 Center St, Winnemucca, NV. Sonoma Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
