There are many activities for seniors at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. The following is the schedule for Feb 8 — 12 :
Monday: 10 a.m Exercise, 1 p.m Cards
Tuesday: 10 a.m. Crafts, 10:30 a.m. Walmart, 11:45 a.m. Lunch Bingo, Board Meeting 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 10:30 a.m. Khourys, 11 a.m. Music by the Danners
Thursday: 10 a.m. Crafts, 10:30 a.m. Ridleys
Friday: Half day – Brunch 10:30 a.m., Center closes at noon, Valentine Dinner
Lunches are served each weekday at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. Lunches are open to the public. Suggested minimum donation is $3 for seniors 60 years and older; $6 charge for persons under 60 years of age. The following is the menu for Feb 8 – 12 :
Monday: Soft beef tacos with salad topping, ranch beans, mexi corn, mixed fruit, pudding
Tuesday: Chicken alfredo over noodles, Italian veggies, tropical fruit, lemon pie bundt cake
Wednesday: Liver & onions or hamburger pattie, parsley potatoes, green beans, peaches, muffin
Thursday: Turkey club on croissant with lettuce & tomato, chips, fresh fruit, jell-o
Friday: Brunch 10:30 a.m. Biscuits & Gravy, bacon, sausage, eggs, V-8 juice
