1928 - 2016
Peggy Marie Morse Landon was born November 16, 1928 in Elko Nevada to Richard and Marie Morse. She was the first born followed by her two sisters, Wilma, Bessy, and bother Richard.
She grew up in Mountain City Nevada and graduated from Elko High School. She attended a business school and worked in the finance department for St. Mary’s Hospital.
She married William (Bill) Landon in 1945. They had two children William (Billy) and Paula.
She and Bill lived in lots of places and chose to live their remaining years in Mountain City.
She loved to travel and loved quilting. She made lots of gorgeous quilts and Afghans.
Peggy was a loving Mother, Grandmother and friend. She was very special and generous with a heart of gold and she will be missed greatly.
She is preceded in death by her father Richard Morse; mother Marie Hoag Morse; her sisters Wilma Morse and Bessy Glennon; her brother Richard Morse; and her husband William Landon.
Peggy leaves behind her son William Landon of Mountain City, her daughter Paula (George) Edwards of Spring Creek, granddaughters Anna (Tony) Penola of Battle Mountain and Patty (Lee) Kelly of Reno, and grandsons Clay Halstead of Reno, Paul Rugh, Josh Rugh both of Montana, Richard (Tammy) Landon of Reno, William (Rene) Landon of Idaho. She has several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

I love you and will miss you greatly Dada, and I hope you are singing show tunes with the Angels.
