The Battle Mountain High School stayed home for the holidays, as it hosted the Battle Mountain Brawl this past Thursday. The dual tournament format featured White Pine, Mineral County, Fernley, Pershing County and Lowry. Lowry defeated Battle Mountain 45-27 to claim the crown. The Longhorns defeated the combined squad of White Pine and Mineral County and Fernley. Battle Mountain is off this week and returns to the mat on Friday, Jan. 6, in Buhl, Idaho.
