“Overall, a good weekend to show us what we need to work on,” said BMHS coach Roger Wallock. “Thursday showed that I have a lot of inexperienced players up from last year’s JV team and we showed signs of good basketball but couldn’t maintain it. It seemed like on Friday and Saturday, we started to trust each other more and share the ball which resulted in easier shots. If we continue to build on that unselfishness, we will continue to get better.”
Battle Mountain travels to Virginia City this weekend for the Comstock Classic. The Longhorns are scheduled to play Virginia City, Coleville, Smith Valley and Silver Stage.
