There are many activities for seniors at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. The following is the schedule for Dec. 5 – 9
Monday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 1 p.m. Pinochle
Tuesday: 10 a.m. Crafters, 10:30 a.m. Walmart, 11:45 a.m. Lunch Bingo, 1 p.m. Painting Class
Wednesday: 10 a.m. Exercise, 10:30 a.m. Khoury’s, 11:30 a.m. Board Candidate Speeches
Thursday: 10 a.m. Crafters, 10 a.m. Library App Class, 10:30 a.m. Ridley’s
Friday: 10 a.m. Exercise with Rae, 11:30 a.m. Zion Preschool Performande, 1 p.m. Panguingue
Lunches are served each weekday at the Pleasant Senior Center, 1480 Lay St. Lunches are open to the public. Suggested minimum donation is $3 for seniors 60 years and older; $6 charge for persons under 60 years of age. The following is the menu for Dec. 5 – 9
Monday: Bacon cheeseburger, lettuce tomato & red onion, tater tots, mixed fruit, pudding
Tuesday: Chicken parmesan with spinach spaghetti, salad bar, mandarin oranges, banana cake
Wednesday: Country fried steak, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, peaches, 4 layer dessert
Thursday: Bbq chicken, potato salad, steamed spinach, fresh fruit
Friday: Lemon baked fish, steamed brown rice, cauliflower, carrots & snow peas, pineapple
