For the first time this season, the Lowry High School girls basketball team faced an opponent that was not itself. The Lady Bucks held their annual alumni game on Saturday morning. In a back-and-forth battle throughout the contest, Lowry pulled away from its former counterparts to win 51-41. The Lady Bucks opened the regular season on Tuesday against Pershing County and results were not available at press time. Lowry travels to Reno and Sparks this week for the High Sierra Challenge. Lowry is scheduled to play Damonte Ranch, Spanish Springs and Piedmont, Calif.
