The Humboldt County Board of Commissioners Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 31 beginning at 1 p.m.
On the agenda;
• District Attorney: Tri-County (Humboldt/Lander/Pershing) Juvenile Detention Center settlement agreement – Discussion and possible action regarding proposed settlement agreement terminating the cooperative agreements between Humboldt County, Lander County and Pershing County regarding the Humboldt County Juvenile Detention Center.
• Administrator: Approval of appraisals and subsequent sale of county properties — Possible approval of real property appraisals for County properties that were designated for possible sale.
• Administrator: Approval of resolution of intent to sell real property at public auction — Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a Resolution of Intent to Sell Real Property at Public Auction providing for the sale of parcels and specifying the minimum bid for each parcel, the terms and conditions of the sales, and the date and time of the public auction.
