Carl D. Dinius passed away at home with family and friends by him on August 14, 2016. Carl D. Dinius was born to Mr. Carl and Mrs. Myra Dinius on April 13, 1935 in Helena, Montana. Carl grew up in and around Gabbs, NV. After graduating high school Carl took a year of college and then he served his country for 3 yrs. in the armed forces. Carl then married his lifelong love and best friend Zella Irene Poole on September 5, 1967. They both had 4 beautiful children together. Carl and Zella spent most of their lives together in and around the Imlay, NV area. Carl loved the outdoors both fishing and working in his yard taking care of it and planting new flowers for his lovely wife and best friend.
Carl D. Dinius was preceded in death by both parents Carl and Myra Dinius, (Gabbs, NV) and grandson August J. “AJ” Markworth, (Spirit Lake, ID). He is survived by his wife Zella Dinius, (Imlay, NV), brother David L. Dinius, (Winnemucca, NV), children Myra L. Dinger, (Golconda, NV), Carlene (Dave) Frickhoffer, (Reno, NV), Frank D. Dinius, (Reno, NV) and David J. Dinius, (Reno, NV). Grandchildren Annette R. (Jay) Beavers, (Hillsdale, WY), Marie A. Dinger, (Roseburg, OR), Devin Dinius, (Reno, NV), LeAnn Frickhoffer, (Reno, NV), Derik M. Johns, (Golconda, NV), Mick D. Johns Jr., (Cheyenne, WY), Franklin D. Dinius, (Reno, NV). Great grandchildren Katie and Hunter Beavers, (Hillsdale, WY).
A memorial service will be held at the Imlay Baptist Church on September 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. There will not be a graveside service.
