Gregory Alan Hayes pleaded no contest to basic speed resulting in a fine of $435. Hayes pleaded no contest to driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor, first offense and was fined $685, ordered to Victim Impact Panel, DUI School and a sentence to serve 30 days in jail with credit given for two days time served. The balance of 28 days are suspended for 12 months under the condition that there be no violation of laws other than minor traffic offenses. The additional charges of possession of a firearm when under influence of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of controlled substance were all dismissed by the D.A.
Aug. 18
Brandy Michelle Trappen was found guilty at trial for violation of temporary protection order. Trappen was fined $20 and sentenced to serve 90 days in jail with credit given for 21 days time served. The balance of 69 days are suspended for 12 months under the following conditions: obtain an alcohol evaluation with proof being submitted to the court within 30 days; follow all recommendations of evaluation and no further violation of laws other than minor traffic offenses.
