The Winnemucca City Council will met Tuesday, Aug. 9 beginning at 2 p.m. The meeting is held at City Hall.
On the agenda:
• Request to hold swap meets at the Winnemucca Community Garden.
• Request to close various city streets for Joshua Rose Annual Memorial Walk 6:30-7:30 p.m. August 13.
• One-way traffic and revised parking layout proposal for Reinhart Street adjacent to WJHS.
• Public hearing-ordinance adoption/request to rezone property to a mobile home park at 4395 Grass Valley Road.
• Request to ratify agreement between Humboldt Development Authority and University Board of Regents for Nevada Small Business Development Center services.
• Resolution authorizing short term interfund loan from capital improvement fund and general fund to sewer fund for the wastewater treatment plant project.
• Taxes, debt management policy, and capital improvement plan to be submitted to the debt management commission.
• Request to purchase asphalt street crack filling machine.
• Request to replace HVAC system at the dispatch center building city owns at the airport.
• Proposal to provide services to inspect, clean and test pump well being considered for purchase by city at 605 West Haskell Street.
