After skipping July, Humboldt County’s school board will meet on Tuesday, August 9, at 4:30 p.m.
Public comment is allowed at the beginning and end of the meeting. Agenda items are as follows:
• Superintendent’s report
• Approval of warrants
• Project AWARE program review and future implementation
• Review of bond projects
• Request for four release days to support Turnaround Grant Implementation for French Ford Middle School and Winnemucca Jr. High School.
• Evaluation of costs associated with attending recruitment fairs
• Staffing update
• Review and discussion of the board’s self-evaluation.
School board meetings are held upstairs on the Fourth Street side of Winnemucca Junior High School in the board meeting room.
